Treatment Character:

This method combines the therapeutic effects of direct electric current, warm water, and hydrostatic pressure and buoyancy. Although this description may sound a bit complicated, it is a completely safe treatment.

Treatment Process:

The four-chamber galvanic bath is a treatment in which the limbs are immersed in four water-filled chambers with electrodes. Electric current flows uniformly through the body via the submerged parts, and depending on whether the electrodes are connected to the positive or negative pole, it affects the muscles with a sedative or stimulating effect.

Main Indications:

It is prescribed mainly for patients with neurological and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. It has a beneficial effect on individuals with rheumatism, polyneuropathy, or after injuries and conditions with impaired mobility of the limbs due to cerebrovascular accidents. It has relaxing, stimulating, and toning effects.

Main Contraindications:

Pregnancy, cardiac pacemaker, tumor diagnosis + chemotherapy treatment (as determined by the doctor), epilepsy, hematologic disorders, hypotension, cardiopulmonary decompensation, total joint endoprostheses.
