Group Exercise in the Pool

Treatment Character:
Group physical education in the pool. It is specific in that it allows movement with relief due to the pressure and resistance on submerged parts of the body. Therefore, it is used to facilitate and enrich movement or for muscle strengthening against water resistance. Different structures and functions of the musculoskeletal system are involved when moving in water compared to outside of the aquatic environment. The relaxing and anti-stress effect is also significant.
Treatment Process:
Patients, dressed in swimwear, exercise in the water according to the trainer's instructions.
Main Indications:
Diseases of the musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular systems. The treatment is mainly intended for patients with musculoskeletal problems such as back, knee, and hip pain, as well as for patients with overweight. The water temperature is 30°C.
Main Contraindications:
Incontinence, skin diseases, skin lesions, acute diseases.
Duration of the Treatment:
30 minutes.
What to Bring to the Treatment:
It is advisable to come in a bathrobe and swimwear.
