Aromatherapy massage is a therapy that combines the effects of relaxation massage and medicinal essential oils. By applying stroking, rubbing, and pressure, pain is alleviated, tension is released, and stress is reduced. It accelerates the removal of superficial skin residues, normalizes skin tension, subcutaneous and deep tissue, as well as muscle structures, improves muscle activity, enhances blood circulation, and induces overall pleasant sensations. Massage is the oldest form of therapy.
Treatment process:
Using special techniques along with essential oils, the massage therapist releases soft tissues and induces relaxation. Cell renewal occurs, and toxic substances are flushed out of the body. The massage is performed lying on the stomach.
Main indications:
Diseases and pains of the spine and joints, chronic rheumatic diseases, diseases of the circulatory and respiratory systems, nervous disorders, recovery after severe injuries, diseases, and conditions due to overall exhaustion, stress, and muscle fatigue.
Main contraindications:
All febrile, infectious, and acute inflammatory conditions, all oncological diseases, conditions requiring complete rest, skin purulent and fungal infections, skin integrity breaches at the site of applied massage, decompensated (untreated) heart and vascular diseases, varicose veins at the site of massage application, swelling at the site of application, certain bleeding disorders, advanced atherosclerosis and osteoporosis, pregnancy.
Duration of the procedure:
25 minutes for partial or 50 minutes for full-body massage
